Witches Altar Besom/Broom
This handcrafted boom of natural straw has a wound cane handle and is made for many years of use. The besom/ broom is the quintessential symbol of the witch. This altar sized version can be used to ritually sweep your altar to prepare for workings, to invoke the powers of “spring cleaning”, ushering in positivity and sweeping away negative energies.
Wooden Pentacle Altar Tile
This laser cut wooden tile has a decorative border and a pentagram at it's centre, with the enclosed circle forming the pentacle design. The perfect centerpiece for your altar, the pentacle represents the combination of elements that comprise the core of the Craft.
Giant Tea Light
This generously proportioned tea light will burn for many hours and can be used to represent the element of fire on your altar. It can also be used for candle magic.
Duck Wishing Feather
Long acknowledged as sacred objects, feathers represent the element of air, and bring the magical properties of change, focus, communication, concentration and wishes. This ethically sourced duck feather has been dyed and hand painted with intention to boost your workings.
Ducks are most closely connected to the water element so a duck feather can represent this for ritual purposes. They represent emotional connections to others, comforting and protecting others and being emotionally flexible. Ducks are especially interesting in that they are creatures who are comfortable in all the material realms; Earth, Sky and Sea. Ducks are thus a symbol of freedom, flexibility and adaptability as well as the connections between heaven and Earth, spirit and material, the astral and the physical and travel and transition between these realms. Feathers are traditionally held as symbols of the element of air, so this one can be used to represent this element on your altar.
Bursa Bubo Sacred Shell
Imbued with the power of elemental waters, shells have long been held sacred as symbols of sea and fertility goddesses. You can use this ethically sourced shell to represent the element of water on your altar.
Clear Quartz Crystal
Quartz is known as the “Universal Crystal” because of its versatility - it is considered the perfect stand in for any other crystal needed in spellwork or ritual, but it is also prized for its own qualities as well. It is considered a cleansing and clearing stone perfect for protection. You can use this crystal to represent the element of earth on your altar.
Jar of Rosemary
The quintessential "Witches Herb", Rosemary is considered a suitable substitute for any herb in a working - you can consider it the quartz crystal of the herb world. It comes with an informative card.
These items are representative - in the event any of them are unavailable at the time you order, we'll substitute something suitable of equal/greater value.
This kit has all the components you need to begin your spellcrafting and ritual work. With all the elements represented you can set up your altar easily - use the shell for water, the crystal for earth, the feather for air and the candle for fire. Cleanse and clear your space with your broom and you're on your way.
